Gastroenterology

Liam went to visit with the gastroenterologist yesterday...He told me the neurologist was hoping to persuade us to do the g-tube but he said after seeing him himself, he doesn't think he needs one.  We did a blood draw to check all of his nutrient levels and to make sure he has no deficiencies but the gastro. says he thinks he may just be small without any medical cause.  They did one for CF as well, but he said they do that for all kids on their first visit along with the nutritional labs.  They also did a test for celiac disease, not sure when any of those results will come back.  Luckily for us, he had a big weight gain in the past few weeks (he is up to almost 24 pounds now) otherwise I think he may have been more concerned.
