I was surprised to learn today that Liam needs tubes in his ears, he is only hearing at 40 Decibels and should be hearing at 10. But, they said it's all fluid and theres not any sign of nerve damage or anything so hopefully once he starts hearing better then he will seem to pay more attention instead of seeming like he just doesn't want to listen (which is what I thought he was doing...Whoops!)
So we will be going to the hospital next Friday (July 8th) to get them put in, then they will put a camera down his nose (or mouth?) and check his throat to see why he seems to have problems breathing out his nose. If his adenoids/tonsils are looking ugly, we'll schedule another appointment to have them removed. Otherwise, it's just weak muscles and he has to strengthen them on his own. I think they think they will probably have to be removed because they said they were really asymmetrical but who knows!
